i am still, and will always be, discovering and developing my process.

you can learn about your own country and language by learning someone else's.

Just the same, i am learning about how i work by learning how other people work.

Today a very talented photographer told me he reads about a good place to take photos, drives there, takes photos and drives home.

He looked at some of my photos and asked me where i took them. Every time i answered " i took that one on the way to..." it made me realize i

take nearly all my photographs on the way to a "destination". i think this is an important part of my process. it is also why i prefer my feet and

a bicycle as my transportation.

Simply put, these photos are not a series of photo shoots. These photos are of my life.

i do not try to "capture" the world with my photographs, i seek to embrace the world and become intimate with it, through the process of taking

and sharing my photographs.
