1st Lightning Storm of the Season at Pun Pun
TIP OF THE WEEK
Good Lighting Photos
Lucky Shot? No. The way to take good lighting photos is to set your camera to Shutter Priority mode and set it to the longest time it will do, usually 30sec. Not every shot will get lighting in it. Make sure your camera won't move. For this photo i just set the camera on an adobe brick (a tripod will give you more flexibility in composition)
Technical Tip : Long Exposure NR and High ISO NR
If your camera has these features, turn them off... It will take extra time, and batteries in the field for your camera to do Noise Reduction. Also you may be able to do a better job while editing later, cause only you know how much noise is a problem and the amount of detail you are willing to sacrifice to get rid of noise.
