Monk Meditating by Candle Light at Wat Suan Mokkh, Thailand
If you look closely you will see swollen mosquito bites on his arm and rain drops on his robe but nothing could break this monks concentration!. This is the only 20 second long photo of a person i've ever taken and it could have been an hour exposure he was so still.
PHOTO TIP OF THE WEEK
I've been really working to get the photos right in camera. This photo has zero post processing. It is fun, saves time in the long run, results in better images, forces you to push you & your cameras limits and is really rewarding to take a photo this good and know your PC had nothing to do with it. |
Because i have just a few days to take photos for these books i'm taking 400 to 1000 photos a day! but spending less then an hour to sort and edit them. |
This was a very rare case that i use a lens greater then 50mm focal length. Just i did not want to disturb him. |
