WHAT :
A special 2 day photography workshop at the Wongsanit Ashram with an optional 3rd day/photo tour. 10 people max, cozy accommodation, beautifully catered, wireless internet & sauna.
WHY :
You've Spent 1000's of dollars to travel and 100's more on your camera, you might as well spend a little time and money to learn how to take better photos. What better time then when your are actually traveling and what better place than beautiful Chiang Mai and its surroundings.
WHEN :
This workshop will be July 26 (sat) and 27th (sun) with the 28th being an optional photo tour. If you just want to join just 1 or 2 day that may also possible. I just need to know in advance.
WHERE :
The Wongsanit Ashram is the ideal place for learning, relaxing & taking photos. The Wongsanit Ashram is less than 2 hours from central Bangkok. Take bus train or taxi to the Future Park shopping center north of Bangkok. I will meet you there and we will drive another 30 minutes to the ashram.
WHO :
Anyone is welcome, photographers of all abilities. 10 people max.
Don't have an expensive DSLR? No problem!
Most compact digital cameras have a ton of features their owners don't know how to use.
Or if you are planning on buying a DLSR but don't have one yet. You can learn using my equipment.
Your instructor is Ryan Libre, Freelance Photographer with 3 years experience in Thailand & over 6 years in Asia. Everyone is welcome to join.
WHAT TO EXPECT :
3 hours of lessons, 3 hours of shooting / Q&A time & 1 hour critique of that day's best photos

WHAT TO BRING:
Your camera, a Notebook, a photo you took that you really like, a photo that you wished turned out better & a lot of questions. Also a portfolio of prints if you have one. Start writing down questions now, it is a good habit for self learning anyway.
